This bottom picture is what the area looks like after the stump grinding process. Next will be grindings clean up followed by filling the hole with soil, and the final piece is sod installation.
I've actually been thinking about getting a stump in my backyard removed for a little while now. From the couple pictures you put up, it doesn't look like it'd be too bad of a process.
