#13 approach being cut and topressed with sand.

What a winter it has been! With nearly non-existent snow fall and above average temperatures our project has been proceeding as planned.

The dry creek portion of the project is complete with the paving finished on both sides of the bridges. This opens them for travel and holes 2,11,12,16 and 17 are accessible for play. The equipment staging area next to #11 forward tee is vacated, graded and seeded. The green end portion of #17 fairway has been graded and sod installed. The area between the dry creek and #2 fairway has been cleaned up and graded. The out of the way portions will be seeded and the playable sections sodded. Also on the 2nd hole we added a tee closer to the fairway for the yellow tee markers and built a new tee for the red tee markers.

We are planning to have the 15th fairway fine graded and Bentgrass sod installed by the end of this week. With each day getting longer and the temperature starting to climb we are expecting the new grass to root in quickly.

The grading and drainage work on the 3rd fairway is almost complete. Drainage hollows have been installed in the left rough with the fill being used to create additional slope on the fairway surface. This improvement will allow the previously flat surface of the fairway to recover faster after a rain event and to provide a firmer playing surface. Also, a fairway bunker has been placed on the left side of the 3rd fairway that will require a 262 yard tee ball to carry the bunker. We anticipate sod fairway sod placement the end of this week or this weekend.

We are pleased with the progress and looking forward to warmer weather and the opening of all 18 holes soon.
