The golf course will be closed Monday Aug 29th and Tues Aug 30th. We will evaluate the conditions Tuesday afternoon for Wednesday.

In preparation for the weekend storm, some weekend maintenance activities have been canceled. We will be concentrating on low hole storm preparation.
This includes removing from the low holes:
Bunker rakes
Tee markers
Benches
Ball washers
Trash boxes
Hazard stakes
Water coolers and housings
These are all expensive items to replace and we hope you understand this inconvenience.

The discoloration of the grass on the edge of #10 fairway is a test area. We are using different rates of a herbicide to selectively remove Bermudagrass from our fairways. Saty tuned!

High nine holes will be open today....6,7,8,9,10,11,12,17,18 with carts.
The practice facility is open on mats. The entire golf course will be open tomorrow.

And they say a bunker isn't a hazard!

This is the total rainfall we received since Friday night. 2.3" on Friday and 2.5" on Sunday. Even with all this rain the greens could be be cut on each morning of the weekend. This is a testament of the drainage system that was installed over the last two years on holes 1,3,4,8,9,10,12,14,15.

This debris line shows how limited our storm water run off is. The water running around the bridge washed out three bunkers. 

As of 6:00 am the facility has no electrical service due to repair work. It should be back on around 10:00 am.

Cart rules have changed to allow carts on path's. Remember.....if there is a path PLEASE stay on it.

After another 1\2" of rain yesterday on top of the 2.8" on Sunday we are still a little wet. Golf course will be open to walkers this morning and we will check conditions around 10:30 for the rest of the day. Also, range is open on mats.

After 2.8" of rain between Saturday night and this morning I can say with a smile on my face that we did not flood. The creek came up to the brim but it did not go over. :) Look at the youtube video to see how high the creek got up to (the link is on the right side of the blog page).

The golf course is a little wet this morning from the 1" rainfall yesterday afternoon. Carts will be on path's today and the range will be off the mats. This will be checked again around 11:00 for any changes.

It rained last night .4" and the golf course is open. Holes#1 and 5 are roped off to cart traffic. Have a great day :)
